Night Shift
Im Rahmen des nextcomic Festivals lädt das Linzer Kollektiv Potato Publishing das Kollektiv After Hours Work Club aus Rumänien zur Produktion und Ausstellung ein.
After Hours Work Club sind Dariana Ilie, Melinda Ureczki Lazar, Lucian Barbu und Gavril Pop. Vereint durch Freundschaft und eine Leidenschaft für Comics und Selfpublishing, erforschen sie Themen der Magie und Esoterik. Die Ergebnisse ihrer Residency werden im Rahmen einer Gruppenausstellung präsentiert. Zusätzlich fließen Arbeiten ehemaliger Stipendiat*innen des Atelierhaus Salzamt mit Schwerpunkt Illustration, Druck und Comic in die Ausstellung ein. Darunter: Malwine Stauss, Srdja Dragovic und Milena Vukoslavovic und Paul Waak.
Als Festivalabschluss lädt Potato Publishing zu einem Drink & Draw – einer ungezwungenen Zeichensession innerhalb der Ausstellung ein. Bring alles mit, womit du gerne zeichnest – Zeichenspiele und Experimente werden zur Verfügung gestellt.

As part of the nextcomic festival, the Linz-based collective Potato Publishing invites After Hours Work Club from Romania, consisting of Dariana Ilie, Melinda Ureczki Lazar, Lucian Barbu and Gavril Pop. United by friendship and a passion for comics and self-publishing, they explore themes of magic and esotericism. The outcome of their residency will be presented in a group exhibition expanded by works from Malwine Stauss, Srdja Dragovic, Milena Vukoslavovic and Paul Waak – former Salzamt Artists in Residence with a focus on illustration, print and comics.
To wrap up the festival, Potato Publishing invites you to a Drink & Draw – an informal drawing session within the exhibition. Bring your favourite drawing tools. Drawing games and experiments will be provided.
